Hello! I’ve been wanting to join a 7v7 league for a long time but haven’t made the effort to do it. I wanted to get back in decent shape first.

I have a couple questions:

1. If I live in the Palisades can I still join a team? There isn’t much social activity here and I work from home. I’d really like to connect with people in Santa Monica and this league seems like a great opportunity to do that.

2. Assuming I can join the league, what’s the best way to find a team as an individual? I’m flying blind here, I don’t know anyone who plays in the league.

I played soccer in college but I haven’t played regular organized soccer in 8-10 years. Still, I’m confident I can handle a decent level 7v7 game Sun/Mon/Tue/Wed nights, co-ed or men’s.

Would really appreciate any answers/advice.
