ABOUT THE SMASL The Santa Monica Adult Soccer Leagues (SMASL) has up to about 140 teams and up to almost 2000 players playing weekly, during Spring and Summer seasons, each year. (with few leagues during the Fall season) Monday thru Friday nights, and Saturday day, is focused on 7 v 7 competitions, of men’s, women’s and coed leagues. On Sunday, we have a Men’s 11 v 11 league competing. The Santa Monica Adult Soccer Leagues started its pilot program in the Spring of 2007 and has been playing ever since, with three leagues yearly, one in the spring and the other in the summer and a limited fall season with fewer leagues.  The Spring and Summer leagues span in time from late January to the end of August. The Fall season will be from about mid-September through mid-December.
